An awesome final night was had at the Oxford Art Factory, listening to the beats of the talented Alison Wonderland.

Awesome venue, solid beats, and Josh was absolutely outstanding on the dance floor. What a month.

Horseback riding in the hills of Nimbin, a free-spirited, artistic and alternative village in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.  Such stunning landscape, especially in the early morning mist, and quite fun to gallop through the fields (or was it just a fast trot? hmm… probably trotting)

Last day at Port MacQuarie. Waves in the morning. You haven’t surfed NSW without been schooled by a surfer chick. Topped off with some pancakes. Yeow! Manly here we come…

I thought I was to old for YHA’s, having stayed in a few in my youth.

However, what I witnessed on this trip is that it is not only a cost effective accommodation option, but you get a more personal, higher standard of service with top notch facilities, bettering a lot of Hotels I have stayed in.

No better way to meet interesting characters, from two legged bus drivers to friendly eight legged monsters. Both hairy.

The speed… The thrill… The experience of my first toboggan race at the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. I decided the hand brake was merely a suggestion, and instead leaned into the turns and tried to gain as much aerodynamics as possible. Now, if only there was a way to slide pass the other tobogganers.

Just in case you decide to bust out the rollerskates. Thanks Bellingen, beautiful town, Vintage Expresso made us one of
the best coffees of the trip.

I spotted this little guy at the Bangalow market, yesterday.

Growing up a fan of gridiron American football, I was thrilled to experience my first Australian professional Rugby League game in Newcastle, New South Wales… cheering for the home team! the Newcastle Knights vs. Brisbane Broncos
